Angel Onofre is a Chicago-based artist, animator, and game developer with over 15 years of professional experience across games, illustration, and design. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Animation, his work blends dark horror-inspired themes with playful and colorful characters.
Inspired by video games, horror films, comics, cartoons, skate culture, and heavy metal, Angel’s artwork has been featured in galleries, conventions, and published art books for properties including Stranger Things, Firefly, and The Thing. Alongside his independent art career, he currently works as a Senior Animator at Wargaming on World of Tanks and has contributed to projects for companies and properties including Disney, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, ABCmouse, LeapFrog, Fisher-Price, WWE, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In his free time, Angel independently develops games and regularly participates in art festivals and conventions throughout the United States.
